that has to be my favorite book ever. i have a beautifully illustrated more recent copy.
yes! junior deluxe editions are great.
i just bought two books at a local antique barn with those exact end covers. one of the books was pernod and sam, the other, grimm's fairy tales. they're both part of junior deluxe editions, and, nevertheless, fantastic.
they also smell so good.
